JAMMU :Police Headquarters J&K has ordered transfer of eight Inspectors to Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) with immediate effect.
As per Order No. 2798 of 2026 dated 03 Oct 2026 issued by SP Personnel for DGP, the Inspectors - Showkat Ahmad, Hilal Ahmad Parray, Shahbaz Bashir, Ibrar Ahmad Lone, Tahir Bashir Bhat, Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, Rajinder Kumar and Pankaj Singh have been transferred from Kashmir Zone, Jammu Zone, CID and Crime Branch to ACB.
The order further states that posts held by Insp Ibrar Ahmad Lone and Tahir Bashir Bhat during deputation shall not be restored to Armed Zone.
In addition, the previous transfer order of eight other Inspectors issued vide HQ Order No. 1798 of 2026 dated 16 June 2026 has been cancelled and they have also been further transferred to ACB.
They have been directed to be relieved forthwith.
