SRINAGAR :The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reconstituted the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee.
As per Notification *S.O 283 dated 30th October, 2026* issued by Revenue Department, Civil Secretariat, in exercise of powers under sections 17(1) and 18(1) of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 and in supersession of earlier notifications, the Lieutenant Governor has appointed the following as Members of the J&K UT Haj Committee for a period of *three years* from the date of publication in Official Gazette:
1. *Shri Mian Altaf Ahmad, Member of Parliament* - Member
2. *Shri Javaid Iqbal, Member of Legislative Assembly* - Member
3. *Shri Mir Mohammad Fayaz, Member of Legislative Assembly* - Member
4. *Shri Zafar Iqbal Manhas* - Member
5. *Shri Ahsan Ul Haq Mirza* - Member
As per order, Executive Officer, Haj Committee shall be the Ex-Officio Member of the Committee.
The order has been issued by order of the Lieutenant Governor and signed by *(Shaleen Kabra) IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department* vide No. Rev-HAJA/29/2026(7761813) dated 30.10.2026.
