RAMBAN:Two Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were found dead inside a vehicle in Ramban district on Tuesday late evening, officials said.
The deceased have been identified as Head Constable Farid Ahmed and Selection Grade Constable Mohammad Yaqoob, both attached with District Police Lines (DPL) Ramban.
According to official sources, both cops were found in an unconscious state inside a car parked near Ziarat Morh at Sana area of Batote in Ramban.
Locals on spotting them shifted both to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared them brought dead on arrival.
The exact cause of death was not immediately known and police have started inquest proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to their death.
Further investigation is underway.
