SRINAGAR :In a significant political development within the ruling National Conference (NC), *15 MLAs* of the party reportedly met at the residence of *MLA Lolab, Qaiser Jamsheed Lone,* in Humhama, Srinagar.
According to sources, the legislators during the meeting demanded the *removal of Chief Minister's Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary and Minister Javed Rana.*
Sources said that the meeting, which is being viewed as a sign of growing differences within the NC over the functioning of the party leadership regarding the much-awaited *Cabinet reshuffle*, lasted for several hours.
The meeting comes at a time when speculations about a cabinet reshuffle in the Omar Abdullah-led government are rife. A section of MLAs is reportedly unhappy with the style of functioning of the top leadership and the dominance of a few leaders in the decision-making process.
