SRINAGAR :
The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is scheduled to meet in Srinagar on Monday at 10:00 AM.
As per the List of Business issued by the J&K Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Srinagar, the House will begin with obituary references by the Hon'ble Speaker on the sad demise of former Ministers - Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Shri Dharam Paul and Ghulam Hassan Khan.
After the obituary references, the House will take up Question Hour. The Speaker will also announce the Panel of Chairmen.
One of the major items on the agenda is the presentation of the House Committee report on Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). Justice Hasnain Masoodi, Hon'ble Chairman of the Committee, will lay on the Table of the House a copy of the Report of the House Committee constituted to probe the alleged irregularities in the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, Minister Incharge Cooperatives Javid Ahmad Dar will introduce a Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Societies Act, 1989. The Bill also seeks to repeal the Jammu and Kashmir Self Reliant Cooperative Act, 1999 and to provide for transitional arrangement of self-reliant cooperatives.
Meanwhile, in a separate bulletin, the Assembly Secretariat informed that the Lieutenant Governor has summoned the Assembly to meet at Srinagar on September 21.
