JAMMU :Government has introduced 0.4% UPI fee on merchant payments above Rs 2,000 from Oct 15, 2026.
Sending money to people remains free, regardless of the amount
Now the payments to merchants/businesses above ₹2,000 will be charged at 0.4%
Though, the charges are capped at ₹300 for payments of ₹75,000 or more.
