In a swift and professional action, Police Post Rehari under Police Station Pacca Danga has solved a house theft case within 24 hours and recovered stolen gold ornaments worth Rs. 7 Lakhs.
A case FIR No. 155/2026 U/S 331(3)/305 BNS was registered at P/S Pacca Danga on the complaint regarding theft of gold ornaments from a residential house falling under the jurisdiction of PP Rehari.
On receipt of the complaint, special teams were constituted by *SHO Pacca Danga under the supervision of SDPO North* Jammu. The team of PP Rehari led by *IC PP Rehari* swung into action and with the help of human and technical sources, zeroed in on the suspect and apprehended him *within 24 hours.*
During sustained questioning, the accused confessed his involvement in the crime and on his disclosure, the entire stolen gold *worth Rs. 7 Lakhs(approx) was recovered.* The accused has been arrested and is presently lodged in lock-up. Further investigation of the case is going on.
