SRINAGAR :Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdown in several areas of Srinagar due to maintenance and repair works on 33 kV lines.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown details are as under:
*On 07 October (10 AM to 3 PM):*
Shutdown of 33 kV Airforce line will be observed. Power supply to *Peerbagh, Cooperative Colony, Jeelanabad, Hyderpora, Nadru, PHQ, Airport, Sheikhpora, Friends Colony, Humhama Heights, Tawheed Bagh* and adjoining areas will remain affected.
*On 06 & 12 October (08 AM to 02 PM):*
Shutdown of 33 kV Wanganpora-Khanyar-Rainawari line will be observed. Power supply to *Kondabal, Hassanabad, Hazaribagh, JLNM Hospital, Jogilanker, Maqdoom Sahib, Miskeen Bagh, Rozbal* and adjoining areas will be affected.
*On 07 October (11 AM to 02 PM):*
Shutdown of 33 kV Cheshmashahi-TRC-Nedous line will be observed. Power supply to *CM residence, Dy. CM residence, Paras Hospital and 11 KV F4 Sonwar* will be affected.
*On 06 October (12 Noon to 02 PM):*
Shutdown of 33 KV Alusteng-Zakoora feeder and 33 KV Alusteng-Nagbal line will be observed. Power supply to *Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulabagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90 ft road, Khalmullah, Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Saloora, Shairpathri* and adjoining areas will remain affected.
KPDCL has requested the consumers to bear with the department.
